Shantell Patrick, Esq.,
founded Shantell Law in Dallas, Texas after acknowledging a high demand for her legal services. Prior to starting the firm, Ms. Patrick was frequently sought out to resolve a wide range of legal issues. It was through those initial relationships that she recognized her ability to establish connections with clients and her passion for assisting them in taking their lives to the next level.
Attorney Patrick obtained both her Juris Doctorate and undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University (College of Law) in DeKalb, Illinois. Early on, Candice realized she possessed a distinct ability to understand the law. She excelled in law school and gained a unique understanding of business, contract, and entertainment law. Candice frequently competed in trial competitions where she was acknowledged for her professional poise and powerful oral advocacy skills. Attorney Patrick is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity and one of few minorities in her class to graduate magna cum laude.
Prior to attending law school, Candice worked as an assistant for a business-consulting firm where she was introduced to business formation and consulting. Later, Candice spent two years clerking for Northern Illinois University’s Office of General Counsel. During that time, Candice strengthened her legal skills as she worked closely with the general counsel to advise the university on a myriad of legal matters. In doing so, Candice developed a strong love for contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating.
Currently, Attorney Patrick is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. Her practice primarily consists of business law and contract drafting, reviewing and negotiating. She also provides copyright and trademark services.
In her spare time, Candice enjoys spending time with her daughter; traveling the world, flying air planes, and engaging with current DCFS Youth In Care through mentoring and transformational speaking.
